Essential Information

Reliable access to clean water is a fundamental human right and is essential for safeguarding health, economic development and preserving the environment. You will familiarize yourself with the fundamentals of how catchment and provisioning of drinking water works and, after “usage”, how the wastewater is treated and safely discharged. In a case study you will work along this value chain of water systems, and you will receive hands-on knowledge for the conceptualization and dimensioning of the most important system compartments. By the end, you will have a robust skill set, ready to critically evaluate water purification and treatment solutions.
